Hazelbrook Public School is easy to get to, either by car or by train. From the station, it is only a five minute walk east from the station, walking away from the shopping centre.
If you are driving up the mountains turn right into Clearview, then left into Hazelbrook Pde, and finally left into Beechmount. If you come to the Hazelbrook shopping centre then you have gone too far.
If you are coming down the mountains go past the primary school then turn first left into Clearview. After that follow the directions as for coming up the mountains.
The school is built on the site that is bounded by the Great Western highway, Beechmount Ave and Hazelbrook Pde. It has and incredible view from the school playground as it overlooks the suburb and the national park.
