Our AWANA is an infant and primary age kid's club with Bible emphasis. The word AWANA stands for "approved workmen are not ashamed", and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. Since 1950, AWANA has grown from one church to a worldwide ministry that includes more than 8,500 churches in more than 80 countries internationally. The ministry is growing every day!
The AWANA club meets weekly during the school terms for approximately ninety minutes. Currently the club meets On Wednesday evenings, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hazelbrook Public School Hall. Club meetings are divided into times for games, scripture memory, and Bible teaching (stories). The goal of AWANA is to reach out to boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. AWANA teaches the gospel message of salvation by grace through faith. Our AWANA group desires to help spiritually all the children in attendance.

Our Kids Bible Club (KBC) meets Sunday mornings at 9.00 am in the large hall at Hazelbrook Public School.
The programme includes Bible memory, games, then our leaders guide the children through a Bible lesson and craft.
A strength of KBC is the mature leaders for the group. There is deliberate intent to build friendships with the children and to model Christ's life before them. Also the children are lead to understand how the Bible works in their daily lives.
